My passions are as follows:

Video games: My favorite type is the RPG genre. I prefer Japanese RPGs to American ones. Among the best of the best are the Xenosaga series, the Final Fantasy series (with FFX/X2 being the best so far), the Tales series, the Magna Carta series, the Fire Emblem series, the Baten Kaitos series, and the Star Ocean series. One other blockbuster RPG title is Lost Odyssey. I also stand behind all the Metroids, Mario, and a bunch of other fantastic titles.

Anime: I love all forms and genres of anime, but I prefer titles with more comedy, drama, romance, and action. My favorite genre is the harem genre for various reasons.

Making that cheese: Money makes the world go round, for better or for worse depending on your point of view.

Music: I can appreciate all forms of music (it’s really just a matter of patience). The greatest song in existence is “Toki wo Kizamu Uta” by Lia and that is a fact ladies and gentlemen.

The Greatest Story ever told is Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion and I will continue to believe that until the day I die.

My name is Victor, it rhymes with “lick her.”

Interests:

Movies – Some of my favorites are The Matrix (1st), Indiana Jones trilogy, Fight Club, Terminator 2, Airplane, and Nolan’s Batman.

Games – I like shooters, RPG’s, racers, little bit of everything (except sports). Some of my favorite series are Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Baten Kaitos, Call of Duty, Half-Life, and course, Guitar Hero.

Anime – Mixed bag, I like everything from action to comedy, from silly to serious, from happy to sad, from moral to sinful,from… you get it.

Music – I listen to mostly rock and some rap. Some of my favorites for rock are Tool, Metallica, Deftones, RHCP, Rush, The Mars Volta. For rap I like Eminem, Mobb Deep and a bunch more random songs from other people.

What can one truly say or do that hasn’t been said or done a thousand times before? I can only attempt to impart a tiny sliver of distinctive essence into my personal endeavors.

Hopefully the following will provide a microcosmic glimpse into the inner workings of my demented mind. A brief brush with the coordinated chaos that is my twisted psyche.

You may now believe that you have some inkling of who I am but that would be but one side of an ever-spinning coin that refuses to cease unwavering inconsistency long enough to reveal its true face. For I am multifaceted and forever in a state of flux/evolution. Constantly contracting and expanding to both the inner and outer whims of known reality. Despite that these whims may be cruel and without mercy I continue to stagger forward toward an unseen goal. Though I cannot perceive that which I seek I do know that it is the journey and not necessarily the destination that will someday reward the fruits of my labor.

Interests:

Movies – I tend to gravitate to comedies, and the most memorable I can think of are National Lampoon’s :Vacation, European Vacation, Fletch, Forgetting Sarah Marshal, Black Dynamite and all those horrible B-movies that aren’t intentionally funny but are so bad I can’t help but make fun of them and review them here on this site. On a more serious tone, these movies changed me or expanded my imagination/mind: Revolver, all the Ghostbusters, all the Indiana Jones except the last one, My Sassy Girl (Korean version), Hachiko: A Dog’s Story… I’ll add more when I can think of them.

Games – I was pretty much addicted to Call of Duty 4 and Modern Warfare 2 for a while, but since then I haven’t been for the gaming. But back in the day, I loved point and click adventures like Day of the Tentacle, Sam and Max Hit the Road, the Leisure Suit Larry series except the last one that was 3D (what were they thinking? That game sucked!), Monkey Island series (again except the 3D one, what were they thinking?!).

Anime – I’ve watched a lot of it, and quite frankly most of it is quite crappy in terms of actual story (or even animation) except for a few gems such as: Fighting Spirit, Ping Pong Club, Golden Boy, Now and Then Here and There (this is quite possibly one of the best anime series in terms of story.. seriously.. just my personal opinion.. very moving), Grave of the Fireflies (really sad but a story that should be told), Ninja Scroll, Ghost in the Shell, Howl’s Moving Castle, His and Her Circumstances… I’ll be sure to add more.

Music – I love synthesizers and electronica, whether it goes back to the Disco era, to 80s groups like A-Ha or even to modern day groups like MGMT. I’m also into more classical type music mixed with a new world kind of flavor. I pick and choose songs from different genres so I’m not a hater of any particular type of music, but I will not say I love it all. So, basically I like Daft Punk, Prodigy, Crystal Method, MGMT, Justice, GRUM, Diamond Cut, Monsieur Adi, Scooter, ERA, Gregorian, and the list is endless, but these are my core as of late…
